This Winter, Gloriæ Dei Cantores and Creare Symphonia, under the direction of Richard K. Pugsley, present a concert of works by Eastern European masters Arvo Pärt and Petris Vasks. The concert will feature Pärt’s L’Abbe Agathon, and Petris Vasks’ Da Pacem, Domine, Lord Open Our Eyes, and the Fruit of Silence. Gloriæ Dei Cantores’ performance of this music has been hailed as “Profoundly moving music…superbly performed” (Fanfare), “extraordinary.” (Classics Today) and as “A true meeting of East and West.” (OrthoChristian.com) We invite you to embark with us on this journey and request for peace – within and worldwide.
